My New Years Word: FULL

Early Thursday morning at around 2:45 I felt my first real earthquake. I woke up to everything shaking and clinking together, while my heart raced. I instantly started praying for God to have mercy on our city while we waited for things to stop shaking.

Luckily no one was hurt and nothing was broken or even knocked over, but I’m still a bit shaken. I’ve known this was a risk living in this city, but I’ve never have it be so real. I’ve felt small earthquakes that barely even shook the ground, but nothing like what happened the other night. I can’t thank the Lord enough for keeping us all safe and I pray that he continues to have mercy on all of us.
